Matcha Protein Hotcakes

Everybody likes protein hotcakes, and If you don’t; well you should. They are yummy and healthy if you choose your ingredients well. I did a little experiment the other day, I was craving matcha and hotcakes and I thought, «Well, let’s mix those up and add some protein as well». The results? Super thin and gorgeous little matcha protein hotcakes that tasted so good with a cup of coffee.

I’m going for the quick version here, for those who don’t have a lot of time to make them from scratch. You’ll need the following:

1. Box of your favorite Hotcake Mix. 
Here are some VEGAN OPTIONS:
2. Water / Vegan Milk (if needed depending on your mix)
3. Your favorite protein. (1 scoop)
4. Matcha Powder (1-2 tablespoon)
5. Toppings! Your favorite fruit like banana or berries, maybe some sliced almonds or a little bit of peanut butter.
6. Sweet Tooth? Add a bit of maple syrup.
7. Coconut Oil. Just a tiny amount for your pan before starting your hotcakes.

A todos les gustan los hotcakes con proteína, y si no te gustan a ti; entonces necesitas darles otra oportunidad. Son deliciosos y saludables si eliges bien tus ingredientes. Hice un pequeño experimento el otro día, estaba antojada de matcha y hotcakes y pensé, «Bueno, mezclemos eso y agreguemos algo de proteína también». ¿El resultado? Hotcakes de proteína con matcha súper delgados que sabían tan hermosos con una taza de café colombiano.

Voy por la versión rápida aquí, para aquellos que no tienen mucho tiempo para hacerlos desde cero. Necesitarás lo siguiente:

1. Caja de tu Hotcake Mix favorito.
Aquí hay algunas OPCIONES VEGANAS:
2. Agua / leche vegana (si es necesario dependiendo de tu mezcla)
3. Tu proteína favorita (1 scoop)
4. Polvo Matcha (1-2 cucharadas)
5. Toppings! Tu fruta favorita como plátano o frutos rojos, tal vez algunas almendras en rodajas o un poco de mantequilla de maní.
6. Te gusta lo dulce? Agrega un poco de miel de maple.
7. Aceite de coco. Solo una pequeña cantidad para tu sartén.
