Yoga, Iced Coffee and a date with Myself

Gracias a Google encontré varios lugares veganos cerca y decidí ir hacia The Pitted Date.

BREAKFAST IN BED –

Last week I was in Playa del Carmen, QROO. I accompanied my husband (new word for me haha, we just got legally married on June 24 and our ceremony & party will be on one month! another wedding! Yay) to a Bariatrics Congress at the Hyatt Resort, since he was one of the exhibitors *and* also I had to take advantage of that short trip and take a few days of rest. right?

One morning I woke up directly to practice #yoga in the bedroom, with the blinds open to let in the natural light of the day and give me that moment of peace that we all deserve.  I asked for room service to have breakfast after having sweated like crazy. Hotcakes and green juice, why not? (If you go to the Hyatt, you will notice that they are very attentive to your lifestyle, allergies or ingredient preference.) Soy milk in hotcakes? Sure!) After having breakfast like a queen in bed, I bathed in delicious hot water and Lush soap that refreshed me and helped me wake up even more. (To see the beach essentials click here)
I decided to eat out on Fifth Avenue since Sebastian was going to be busy. Thanks to Google I found several vegan places nearby and decided to go to The Pitted Date. I had no idea what the place would be like or anything, I walked and got there in 5 minutes. The place is nice, it has some tables outside and others inside with air conditioning. I ordered an Italian panini and lemon water with ginger and chia seeds. For starters, the salad tasted beautiful, really. The panini? WOW. I ate half of it and the rest I took it to the room to eat it later. The food is great, the next day I took Sebastian and he ended up delighted with the food too (and no, he’s NOT vegan).

I finished eating and obviously ordered a coffee to-go so I could walk a little more, I ordered a Cacaco Iced Coffee, bitter but delicious, strong and perfect for lovers of coffee and bitter chocolate. I decided to return to the Hyatt Hotel to read a while and continue to relax.
